Theanine is the amino acid found in Green Tea. It has the ability to change mood, induce a sense of calm and balance in the body, by helping to release Dopamine, a brain produced chemical that leads to a feeling of calmness in the body. It also lessens the side effects of Caffeine, which is why the caffeine found in this tea does not seem to have the same effects as other products. Whilst this in itself is not a weight loss aid, by reducing stress levels, the urge to eat is greatly reduced.
